101 Films have announced two upcoming Blu-ray releases to swell their already-burgeoning collection of horror offerings – The Head Hunter and Uncle Peckerhead.

Here’s the details:

On 12th April Jordan Downey’s atmospheric medieval horror THE HEAD HUNTER (2018) arrives on Blu-ray
for the first time in the UK. The disc contains two commentaries from the filmmakers and a ‘making of’
featurette.

On the outskirts of a kingdom, in the shadows of a looming castle, a quiet but fierce medieval warrior
protects the realm from monsters. The gruesome collection of trophy heads on the wall of his cabin is
missing only one – the monster that killed his daughter. He travels wild expanses on horseback, driven by a
thirst for revenge. When his chance for vengeance arrives, it’s in a way far more horrifying than he ever
imagined.

Special Features
• How We Made Head Hunter – Commentary with director Jordan Downey and producers Kevin
Stewart and Ricky Fosheim
• Why We Made Head Hunter – Commentary with writer-director Jordan Downey and writer Kevin
Stewart
• Making of featurette

On 3rd May 101 Films will release the uproariously bloody UNCLE PECKERHEAD on Blu-ray and across digital
platforms. Part insane road-trip comedy, part rock concert, part unimaginable gore-fest, Uncle Peckerhead
has midnight movie written all over its bloody mangled corpse. The Blu-ray includes a cast commentary
and the short film Larry Gone Demon.

Punk outfit DUH are about to embark on their first tour in preparation for a big hometown show. Only
problem is they don’t have any wheels. Luckily, they run into a nice southern redneck, Peckerhead or “Peck”
to his friends, who just happens to live in a 15-passenger van. He is more than happy to be their roadie and
merch guy if they throw him a few bucks and cover gas. What could be the harm? However, Peck has a
secret he is keeping: if he doesn’t take his medicine before midnight, he turns into a cannibalistic monster.

Blu-ray Special Features
