Here at Movie Ramblings towers, we were big fans of Reine Swarts’ turn in Frightfest hit Triggered earlier this year, so it was a no-brainer to get on board the South African star’s feature directorial debut – horror flick The Hex.

Set for a VOD release on December 15th, here’s the synopsis:

A grieving British girl unravels her murdered mother’s secrets connected to a South African witch doctor’s curse. She wants to put an end to this haunting hex by traveling to South Africa, but instead it casts her deeper into sinister depths.

And here’s a trailer:

The Hex stars the likes of Coco Lloyd, Mari Molefe van Heerden, Hungani Ndlovu and Mary-Anne Barlow – and we hope to have a review on site soon!
