To be honest, I’m not sure anyone thought there were legs left in the Men In Black franchise but here we are, with Sony looking to relaunch the franchise in a new way.

Gone are the likes of Will Smith, Tommy Lee Jone et al and in come Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson, along with the likes of Liam Neeson (and the returning Emma Thompson).

This entry is billed ‘Men In Black: International’, with the action shifting to London. And there is little in the way of synopsis on the press release – in fact all we get is this…

The Men in Black have always protected the Earth from the scum of the universe. In this new adventure, they tackle their biggest, most global threat to date: a mole in the Men in Black organisation.

We have got a trailer though…

Directed by F Gary Gray, the film comes with heavyweight pedigree in the executive producer stakes thanks to Steven Spielberg, E. Bennett Walsh and Barry Sonnenfeld.

Men In Black: International lands in cinemas on June 14.
