I’ve always had a bit of a soft spot for ‘dogs on the rampage’ movies, whether it be the likes of Cujo or David McCallum 70s romp Dogs – heck, I even went to the cinema to check out Lance Henriksen dud Man’s Best Friend back in the day.

Which is why I’m licking my lips at the prospect of Aussie chomper The Pack heading our way, with the film set for a March 7 DVD release courtesy of Arrow Films.

Here’s the official press release:

Taking place over a frantic and nightmarish 24 hours,The Pack sees a family menaced and attacked by a pack of vicious and hungry black dogs in a classic piece of animal-amok horror. The Pack arrives on DVD 7th March 2016.

His dreams of keeping the family business going are shattered, but nothing can prepare him for what will happen next. As night falls the feral pack of dogs begin to circle the farmhouse. With a taste for fresh blood, they launch their attack, stopping at nothing to get inside the house. Will Adam and his family make it out alive? Or will they fall victim to…THE PACK!
