Billed as ‘old testament legend meets new terrorist reality’, Jeruzalem looks set to bring some apocalyptic terror to Frightfest.

Part of the growing Israeli horror explosion (which saw Big Bad Wolves go down very well at the 2013 festival), this one comes courtesy of directorial double-act Doran and Yoav Paz.

Here’s a synopsis:

While visiting Jerusalem, three American tourists find themselves trapped within the city walls as an apocalyptic event spreads throughout the holy enclave.

For Judgement Day, the worst prophesy in the bible, is coming true and the terrified trio are on the inside capturing every bloody moment.

Will they escape before all Hell breaks loose and the Dark Angels extinguish the light?

The film stars the likes of Tom Graziani, Yael Grobglas and Danielle Jadelyn, and gets its UK premiere on Friday, August 28.
