It’s not much to get your teeth in to admittedly, but a new clip has landed for upcoming Gil Kenan/Sam Raimi remake Poltergeist.

Set to arrive in cinemas May 22, the update will look to scare a new generation of fans, as well as try not to disappoint those who enjoy the original.

I’m pretty sure you know the deal, but here’s the synopsis:

Legendary filmmaker Sam Raimi (“Spiderman,” “Evil Dead”, “The Grudge”) and director Gil Kenan (“Monster House”) contemporise the classic tale about a family whose suburban home is haunted by evil forces.  When the terrifying apparitions escalate their attacks and hold the youngest daughter captive, the family must come together to rescue her before she disappears forever.

And here’s the clip:

Poltergeist stars the likes of Sam Rockwell, Rosemarie DeWitt and Jared Harris.
