Two Tom Hardys for the price of one seems a good idea to us – especially if he’s playing iconic London bad guys Ronnie and Reggie Kray.

So here we have the trailer for Legend, set to hit cinemas in September.

If truth be told, I actually enjoyed Spandau Ballet brothers Martin and Gary Kemp and their take on this back in the day (it was the first ’18’ I sneaked in to at the cinema).

But there’s always room for more – especially with this film’s credentials.

Here’s the synopsis:

From Academy Award® winner Brian Helgeland comes the true story of the rise and fall of London’s most notorious gangsters, Reggie and Ron Kray, both portrayed by Tom Hardy in an amazing double performance. LEGEND is a classic crime thriller taking us into the secret history of the 1960s and the extraordinary events that secured the infamy of the Kray Twins.

And here’s the trailer:

One of our team of writers even bagged an extra’s role in this one, so we’ll be looking out for him come September 11.
