Teaser trailers have always been a bit of a minefield when it comes to Bond movies.

There’s been plenty that have provoked nothing more than a shrug of the shoulders, then there’s been those that have whetted the apetite perfectly – think the ‘jump off the dam’ promo that emerged before the release of Goldeneye for example.

So, all things being considered, it is with a great deal of pleasure (and relief) that the first teaser for Spectre has us excited – bloody excited in fact.

The perfect, and pretty rare nowadays it has to be said, mix of intrigue without actually giving that much away, we reckon this one is a delight.

Spectre lands in cinemas in November.
