We’ve been awaiting this one hitting the shelves ever since it screened at Frightfest back in Halloween 2013, so we’re delighted that quirky Canadian slasher Discopath has finally bagged a release date.

Set for DVD on May 4, here’s the synopsis:

The mid-70’s: a timid young New Yorker leads an uneventful life until he is fatefully exposed to the pulsating rhythms of a brand-new genre of music: disco. Unable to control his murderous impulses that stem from a traumatic childhood experience, Duane Lewis transforms into a dangerous serial killer exiled to Montreal.

The film stars the likes of Jeremie Earp-Laverbne, Sandrine Bisson and Frabcois Aubin, and is directed by Renaud Gauthier.
