I don’t know about you, but I’m getting a little bit tired with all these superhero reboots/reimaginings that seem to be flung at us these days.

We’ve had a relaunch for Spiderman, with Batman to come later this year – pretty much while the previous incarnations are relatively fresh in the memory.

Here we go again with The Fantastic Four, a fresh take that ditches the likes of Chris Evans and Jessica Alba in favour of, among others, Miles Teller and Kate Mara.

The first teaser trailer has been released, and seems to be going for the ‘heavy/emotive’ angle that appears a pre-requisite of most comic-book movies these days.

Directed by Josh Trank, who brought us the hugely enjoyable Chronicle, and with the reliable Toby Kebbell on villain duties, The Fantastic Four lands in cinemas in August.
