When it comes to horror movies picking up buzz entering 2015, It Follows seems the one to beat.

Having wowed audiences at festivals last year (including Cannes and London), writer/director David Robert Mitchell’s opus will get a major release in the UK on February 27.

To mark the occasion, a new trailer and poster have been unveiled, which we’ve kindly included below.

Before that, here’s the simple synopsis:

“After a date and seemingly innocent sexual encounter, 19-year-old Jay is left with an inescapable sense that someone, or something is following her. Jay and her friends team up to try and find ways escape the traumatising horrors that are always right behind them.”

Starring Maika Monroe (who we absolutely loved in The Guest), suffice to say we’re looking forward to this one.

He is currently working with director Richard Loncraine to explore all avenues in a bid to orchestrate the re-release of 1978 Mia Farrow chiller Full Circle
