Being from Wales, having an interest and liking for Dylan Thomas is pretty much a given.

So I’m pretty excited that Thomas’ story is coming to the big screen next month, courtesy of director Andy Goddard’s Set Fire To The Stars.

The film focuses on the poet’s time in New York in the 1950s, where he was chaperoned by American writer John Malcolm Brinnin through his US tour.

Celyn Jones takes on the role of Thomas, with Elijah Wood starring as Brinnin.

In addition, the likes of Kelly Reilly and Steven Mackintosh round out the cast.

The first trailer and poster have arrived for the release, which you can check out below.

Set Fire To The Stars lands in cinemas on November 7.
