The first teaser trailer and poster for Paul Thomas Anderson’s Inherent Vice has been released. Adapted from the Thomas Pynchon novel of the same name, Inherent Vice stars Joaquin Phoenix, Josh Brolin, Owen Wilson, Reese Witherspoon, Jena Malone, Benecio Del Toro and Katherine Waterston. Quite an impressive cast. Judging from the trailer, it looks like Paul Thomas Anderson has let his hair down a bit since his last two films (There Will Be Blood and The Master) and looks like his having quite a bit of fun here. If you ask us, this one looks like it has got Oscar written all over it. And here is the poster. Inherent Vice is due out in UK cinemas on 30th January 2015.
