OK, we admit – while here at Movie Ramblings we found 2012’s The Pact as diverting enough slice of big-screen horror, a sequel wasn’t really at the top of our wish list.

But here’s the first trailer for The Pact 2, which will apparently be getting a cinema airing later this year.

This follow-up picks up mere weeks after the first film ended, with more antics involving the Judas Killer and plenty of things that go bump in the night (and day).

Caity Lotz (who we loved here in recent UK sci-fi flick The Machine) returns as Annie, with the likes of Haley Hudson and Mark Steger also reprising their roles from the first offering.

Fresh blood comes in the form of Camilla Luddington and Patrick Fischler, with Dallas Hallam and Patrick Horvath now in the director’s chair.
