It goes without question that one of our favourite women in horror is prolific actress/producer/director Jessica Cameron (and the fact that she follows us on twitter and retweets a lot of our stuff has nothing to do with it…..).

After all, you’ve got to love someone who has a quite frankly ridiculous 12 films on her slate for 2014, as well as taking on a seemingly never-ending quest to push the gore genre forward.

For that reason, we here at Movie Ramblings were pretty stoked when we realised those devilish Frightfest bods had picked up one of Cameron’s recent efforts, Truth Or Dare, to screen at this summer’s festival.

Truth Or Dare sees Jessica directing as well as starring, in a twisted tale of internet stardom.

Six college kids get their kicks when they put their spin on a ‘truth or dare’ reality video – with a violent twist of course.

After their viral hit is proved to be a hoax, things get a whole lot messier for the kids in question when the video’s number one fan decides he is ready to play a new game, one that will undoubtedly be both brutal and extreme……

As well as Cameron, the film stars the likes of Ryan Kiser, Heather Dorff, Shelby Stehlin and Devanny Pinn.

Truth Or Dare screens at London’s Frightfest on Monday, August 25.
