Here at Movie Ramblings, we’re pretty much counting down the days to the release of Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes in the UK on July 17.

The reason is pretty simple – we absolutely loved (and were surprised by) the quality of the reboot back in 2011.

This time around things look set to be grimmer, with Caesar and co clashing with human survivors of the devastating virus that was hinted at in the conclusion to the last film.

Matt Reeves directs this time around, with the sequel starring, among others, Gary Oldman, Keri Russell and new Dr Doom Toby Kebbell – as well as Andy Serkis of course.

Fox have unveiled a new teaser poster, as well as a brand new TV spot, which we’ve kindly included below:
