Tom Cruise’s latest assault on the box office, Edge Of Tomorrow, hits cinemas on May 30, and we admit we are pretty excited.

Sure, the plot looks like a mishmash of Source Code, Groundhog Day and any other timebending offering, but we like the look of it nonetheless.

Directed by Doug Liman, Edge Of Tomorrow follows Major William Cage (Cruise), who is forced into a timeloop of failure that sees him killed over and over again as he looks to fight off an alien invasion of Earth.

The full trailer shows plenty of action, as well as plenty of Emily Blunt (which can never be a bad thing), so here’s hoping this proves an enjoyable watch.
