Real-life World War II thriller The Monuments Men arrives in UK cinemas this Friday, and we’ll have our review up on site in the next couple of days.

To tide you over until then, here’s a new featurette that looks at the inspiration for the film, the true story of a group of American and British soldiers that entered Germany to locate and salvage priceless works of art stolen by the Nazis.

Mixing news footage with interview snippets with the likes of director/star George Clooney, this should set you up nicely if you plan on going to see the film.
