I think it is pretty safe to say that 21 Jump Street nestled itself very neatly in our filing cabinet labelled ‘much better than we thought it was going to be’.

And with pretty hefty box office takings to boot, it is hardly surprising that Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill have reunited for a sequel.

The first trailer has landed for the action comedy and it showcases a truckload of the crude humour and gags that made the first an enjoyable romp – in fact, I’ll happily admit that I laughed out loud a couple of times during this promo.

The plot seems to be the same old stuff, with Tatum and Hill now heading to college to crack another drug ring, but if the chemistry between the two matches the original outing than I can live with that.

Directed by Phil Lord, 22 Jump Street hits cinemas in June 2014.
