British horror comedy Crying Wolf launched its trailer online recently, and if the promo is anything to be believed looks set to deliver a bloody slice of tongue-in-cheek werewolf fun.

Sure, it all looks pretty cheap-and-cheerful, but the likes of Young, High and Dead recently have taught us that enthusiasm and love for the genre can often more than compensate for that.

Director Tony Jopia has actually managed to put together a decent cast on a shoestring – a cast that includes genre legend Caroline Munro no less.

Set in the Cotswolds, this romp takes in werewolves, hapless journalists and hard-nosed vigilantes, mixed with some classic British humour.

Joining Munro are the likes of Joe Egan, Gary Martin and Ian Donnelly.

Although the film does not yet have an exact release date, expect it some time early 2014.
