Ever wanted to enjoy a flick that not only showcases Dolph Lundgren and killer robots, but zombies as well?

If so then you are in luck thanks to Battle Of The Damned, which will be hitting DVD in the UK on December 26.

Lundgren plays Max Gatling, a mercenary who is tasked with rescuing a female survivor from a quarantined city in the aftermath of a deadly viral outbreak.

Naturally this city is overrun by zombies, but things are made slightly easier for Gatling when he realises he has an army of kickass prototype machines at his disposal.

The movie is directed by Christopher Hatton, who has history with this sort of stuff thanks to directing Robotropolis (which this appears to be a sequel to).

Joining Lundgren for the ride are the likes of Melanie Zanetti, Matt Doran and David Field.

Dolph certainly seems to be keeping himself busy with this and the likes of Hard Rush recently, and this looks as though it could be fun, so we’ll probably be checking it out.
