Latest: 75 years of Superman short Colin D Miller October 17, 2013 Latest News and Videos 2316 To celebrate the fact Superman is 75 years old this year and the upcoming home release on 2nd December of Man of Steel, Warner Bros have released this rather nifty short animation. Created by Zack Snyder and DC animator Bruce Timm, the two minute short manages to cram in 75 years of iconic history, ranging from the George Reeves serials, Christopher Reeves genre defining turn to Henry Cavill’s take on the Man of Steel. Rather disappointingly Brandon Routh’s presence has been swept to the side, despite Superman Returns flaws his performance as Kal-El wasn’t one of them in our humble opinion. Anyway, Warner Bros has also released the artwork for the upcoming release, along with a confirmed list of special features. Press release confirming the exact details below: A young boy learns that he has extraordinary powers and is not of this Earth. As a young man, he journeys to discover where he came from and what he was sent here to do.
