Credit where credit’s due, good ol’ Jason Statham keeps on churning out flicks featuring his very particular brand of fisticuffs, despite the box office returns it seems.

To be fair, we’ve enjoyed most of the Stath’s work to date – especially the bone breaking.

Homefront_D1_0080.CR2But if you would have told us that his next film would star James Franco as a drug dealing villain, have the likes of Winona Ryder and Kate Bosworth in the supporting cast, and be written and produced by Sylvester Stallone? We’d have probably asked what you were on.

But here’s the trailer for Homefront, which features all of the above – and more.

The Stath stars as former DEA agent Phil Broker, who after moving to a small locality in the hope of finding the quiet life, finds himself tangling with the local drug lord (surprise, surprise).

Directed by Gary Fleder, who has the likes of Things To Do In Denver When You’re Dead, Kiss The Girls and Don’t Say A Word in his thriller cabinet, Homefront hits cinemas on November 29.
