Video: Trailer arrives for chiller Bloodline Simon Fitzjohn September 11, 2013 Latest News and Videos 2708 Throw a bunch of young adults in a cabin out in the forest and chances are thoughts will turn to the likes of Cabin In The Woods, The Blair Witch Project, Evil Dead or even the endless cycle of summer camp slashers that populated the 80s. Looking to move things in another direction is Bloodline, a horror flick that features ancient curses, trainee priests, some native American wisdom and plenty of violence. The flick follows Brett (Matt Thompson – who also directs), who is dithering over whether to get ordained – hardly surprising when he seems to be the key to some sort of curse. Opting for a time out, Brett decides to round up his friends and head out into the woods for a break – only for the nastiness to begin. Shot on location in the Eldorado National Forest in Sacramento, the trailer certainly looks nice, so let’s hope the scares end up matching the impressive visuals. Bloodline also stars the likes of Jesse Kristofferson, Kimberley Alexander and Gina Comparetto. The film is set for release in US cinemas on September 27, with no date set yet for this side of the pond.
