British crime thriller The Rise hits cinemas and on demand on September 20, and to build anticipation the first clip has been unveiled online.

Starring the likes of Luke Treadaway, Matthew Lewis, Neil Maskell and Timothy Spall, the film promises to be a mix of heist flick, underdog story and straight-up thriller as Treadaway’s Harvey Miller is tracked by Spall’s Detective Inspector West following an foiled robbery and attempted murder.

The film marks the feature debut of director Rowan Athale, and has already received a host of thumbs-up reviews.

Following its limited cinema release, The Rise will then hit DVD on September 30.
