Creepfest Citadel, which made a splash at the London Film Festival last year, will hit DVD shelves on September 30.

An atmospheric, engrossing tale, the British film follows Tommy, who has found it increasingly difficult to emerge from his home after the fatal attack on his wife by a gang of rowdy kids.

Tommy still has his baby daughter to look after, but becomes convinced the same hoody gang that killed his wife now want his child.

Then turning to both an understanding nanny and a vigilante priest, Tommy decides it is time to make a stand.

Aneurin Barnard, riding high after showcasing his talents on recent BBC drama series The White Queen, takes on the role of Tommy, with support from the likes of James Cosmo and Wunmi Mosaku.

Citadel is directed by Ciaran Foy, whose previous feature was horror effort Hotel Darklight back in 2009, and with Fangoria dubbing this flick ‘truly scary’ he seems to be someone worth keeping an eye on.
