News: Ray Liotta thriller Breakout gets UK release date Simon Fitzjohn July 9, 2013 Latest News and Videos 6316 We’ve got to admit, here at Movie Ramblings we always enjoy sitting through a good Ray Liotta film, even if he does seem to churn out more and more straight-to-DVD material these days. Well, the next Liotta project to hit DVD in the UK is Breakout, which popped up in the US a while back under the title Ticket Out. Scripted by Hunger Games writer Suzanne Collins, the film focuses on young mother Jocelyn (played by Alexandra Breckenridge, who caught our eye as the naughty maid in American Horror Story). Jocelyn decides to go on the run with her two kids, to try and save them from dangerous ex-husband Dennis (played by Twilight’s Billy Burke). But with the police offering her no solace, she looks for salvation in the shape of Liotta’s Jim, who heads an underground network of contacts that just may be able to save her. The film also stars Joel Moore and Silas Weir Mitchell, among others. Directed by Doug Lodato, Breakout hits stores on September 9.
