Insidious was one of those oh-so typical horror offerings – a brilliant set-up squandered by a not-at-all scary conclusion.

Having said that, the mix of haunted house and possession flick was still an enjoyable watch, so we are more than happy that everybody seems to be back on board for this second instalment.

Obviously seeking to station itself above most horror fare by deciding to call itself Chapter 2, rather than simply 2, the trailer suggests more child possession and creepy goings on, with parents Rose Byrne and Patrick Wilson back in the firing line.

Insidious Chapter 2 is set for a September release.
