Latest: Guardians of the Galaxy casting

Guardians of the Galaxy appears to be attracting some top talent this week.

With Chris Pratt, Michael Rooker, Zoe Saldana and Dave Bautista already in place, this week it was announced that Glenn Close and Karen Gillan had joined the production.

Glenn Close confirmed for Guardians of the Galaxy

Glenn Close will be playing the leader of Nova Corps – think an intergalactic version of Shield, while Karen Gillan is confirmed to play the main female villain.

It’s also been rumoured that Marvel have offered a role to John C Reilly, but he has not accepted it yet due to the role being a “big commitment”.

The James Gunn directed Guardians of the Galaxy is due for release next year.
