Anybody who has spent any time gazing across the articles I have penned on Movie Ramblings knows that if there is one genre I love above all others, it is the slasher movie.slice_png_290x290_q92

Which is why I’m totally stoked that documentary Slice and Dice: The Slasher Film Forever is to hit the DVD shelves in the UK on May 13, promising an 88-minute thrill ride through some of the genre’s biggest hits, as well as the most forgettable flops.

Directed by Calum Waddell, Slice and Dice features input from such notables as Tobe Hooper, Mick Garris and Corey Feldman (who will always be Tommy from Friday the 13th Pt IV in my book).

Here’s a trailer for the upcoming release which manages to pack in a clutch of interviews, as well as footage from the likes of Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Halloween, My Bloody Valentine and many, many more.

Enjoy!
