Here at Movie Ramblings, we have high hopes for Adam Wingard as part of the new horror generation.

We felt there were flashes of genius in his A Horrible Way To Die (review below) and, while we were lukewarm about his contribution to V/H/S, his segment in the upcoming ABCs Of Death certainly put things back on track.

All that explains why we are eagerly awaiting his next effort, home invasion shocker You’re Next.

Written by Simon Barrett (who also penned A Horrible…), the movie tells the tale of a family retreat out in the sticks being rudely interrupted by a gaggle of weapon-wielding psychos.

Starring the likes of Reanimator’s Barbra Crampton and even Ti West, You’re Next hits the UK on August 23.

And, to whet the appetite even further, a series of quality posters were released to promote the film this week, showcasing the masks the intruders don for the attack.

Consider us excited about this one.
