Hammer classic Dracula gets a welcome Blu-ray/DVD re-release on Monday (March 18), providing horror fans with a new opportunity to check out the Christopher Lee/Peter Cushing smackdown.

But this is no ordinary release, oh no, for this new version contains a wealth of footage gathered from Japanese reels of the film – footage that was snipped by those meddling UK censors back in the day.

As well as that unseen-for-decades footage, there is a whole truckload of bonus material, from documentaries to image galleries.

To mark the occasion, we have one of the featurettes for you below, which looks at the various snips that the film suffered ahead of its 1958 release.
