Some great news for horror fans emerged today as Monster Pictures announced they have secured a cinema release for out-there anthology flick The ABCs Of Death.

In a canny piece of marketing, the film – which features 26 short films from 26 directors – will screen at 26 cinemas in the UK on, you’ve guessed it, the 26th April.

A massively ambitious project, The ABCs Of Death showcases the work of the likes of genre favourites Ti West, Ben Wheatley and many more (well, 24 more to be exact).

Each director was given their own letter of the alphabet and then allowed free reign to come up with their own vision of death.

And if the two-minute trailer that screened at last summer’s Frightfest is anything to go by, then expect something truly off the wall.
