Metrodome have announced that their British horror flick Hollow will get a UK cinema release on January 25, 2013.

Yet another spin on the found footage format, the trailer comes across all Blair Witch with its tale of four friends, an ancient monastery, an evil curse and an ominous hollow tree.

The film stars the likes of Emily Plumtree and Sam Stockman, and is directed by Michael Axelgaard.

There has been some positive word of mouth after early festival screenings, so let’s hope Hollow bucks the found footage trend when it appears early next year.
