If you are anything like us here at Movie Ramblings, you will have raved about the Ford Brothers’ stunning zombie epic The Dead.

Well, the great news is a sequel is on the cards and the teaser trailer debuted at Frightfest on Saturday night in London.

Showing little other than some nice location shots and a couple of shuffling undead, the teaser is still enough to get our juices flowing.

The action this time round will be set in India, with production due to begin in February 2013.

Co-director Howard Ford says: “We have been receiving so much enthusiasm and demand for a sequel we owe it to the fans of The Dead to deliver something that goes way beyond what we could achieve first time round and the starting point was to find the most stunning and varied landscapes where we have not seen the dead walk before!”
