OK, so I’m still not convinced in any way that we need another Die Hard, but I have to admit what I have seen so far in terms of promotional guff has me feeling a little bit more hopeful.

The first trailer was solid enough, and today’s release of the international trailer (see below) adds more action and more laughs into a quickfire 1min 44secs.

Showing John McClane as a fish-out-of-water in Moscow, things swiftly turn into his kind of town when the guns come out and the explosions build.

We also get a glimpse of Mary Elizabeth Winstead as McClane’s daughter, as well as more interaction between father and son (played by Jai Courtney).

As if that wasn’t enough, today also saw the release of a new international poster (see right), which pushes very close to being a pun too far but still made me crack a smile.

I await with interest for A Good Day To Die Hard to hit cinemas in February.
