I’m not sure this movie will actually ever get released, but the trailer for the long-delayed remake of action flick Red Dawn has finally landed.

The 1984 original saw , among others, Charlie Sheen and Patrick Swayze team up to combat a Soviet invasion of the US.

This time round the Russians have been replaced by North Koreans as the villains of choice, and the ragtag bunch of American heroes include the likes of Chris Hemsworth and Josh Hutcherson.

So, despite the film being logjammed in the MGM mire since being filmed way back in 2009, the delay could have played into the distributor’s hands with the increased star power of those two.

Red Dawn will hopefully be released on November 21.
