Described as a comic-book mix of Twilight and James Bond, We Are The Night is a German take on the vampire mythology.

Set in a decadent Berlin, this flick follows the antics of a gang of bloodsuckers who, among other things, are searching for lost loves and missing daughters.

The gang is led by Louise (Nina Hoss), who is convinced she has found the love of her life when she stumbles across pickpocket Lena.

But a quick seduction and some neck biting later, and things may not be panning out exactly as she hoped.

Awash with nightclub scenes and super-stylish visuals, this ups the ante when it comes to the cool factor.

Directed by Dennis Gansel, We Are The Night screens at Frightfest on Sunday, August 26.
