Fans of directorial duo The Manetti Bros are in for a real treat at Frightfest as not only is the festival screening their standout flick The Arrival Of Wang (to be looked at next week on this site), but their new opus gets its UK premiere.

Paura 3D is a no-holds barred, savage piece of cinema with the added bonus (if you like that thing) of it being in 3D – which I do.

Mechanic Ale and his two mates hatch a plan for a weekend to remember after he overhears a wealthy customer chatting to the garage boss.

Turns out this rich guy is out of town for a few days, giving Ale and pals the chance to enjoy the luxury hisRomevilla has to offer – without his knowledge of course.

So off they head for their wild weekend, only to find out it will be a weekend to remember for very different reasons.

Shocking and brutal (if the trailer is anything to go by), Paura 3D screens at Frightfest on Saturday, August 25.
