Sony Pictures have released the first video blog from Sam Mendes on the set of Skyfall.

Expressing his fondness for Martin Campbell’s take on Casino Royale, it’s interesting to note he doesn’t mention Quantum of Solace. Here’s hoping Skyfall is more like the former.

Starring Daniel Craig, Javier Bardem, Dame Judi Dench, Ralph Fiennes and Naomie Harris, Skyfall is set for release later this year.
